We welcome you and your family to our new home, Fairmile House. You may have already been our guests at One Royal Terrace in the city centre. Fairmile House is located on the main highway (Highway 1) approximately 10 minutes from Dunedin’s centre the Octagon, and approximately 10 minutes from Dunedin’s International Airport. We have 1½ acres of landscaped grounds and a generously proportioned modern home of 5,000 square feet. The house is in an elevated position on the north face of Saddle Hill (named by Captain Cook on one of his early voyages around New Zealand, as he observed the peaks resembled a riding saddle). Panoramic views across the Taieri Plains to the Silverpeaks Mountains and further west to the Maungatua Range give a rural vista surprisingly close to the city of Dunedin.
